This computer uses a Baby AT motherboard based on VESA local-bus architecture. It also holds a Viper VL-bus graphics card from Diamond Multimedia (2MB of VRAM) and an ISA sound card. Other hardware included 16MB of Standard DRAM, a 256K L2 cache, and a 2X CD-ROM drive, and a 425MB IDE disk. The PC was tested under Windows 95 for compariso


If you want to spend $500 or less you can enhance multimedia by buying an Intel overdrive CPU, upgrade memory to 32MB, and buy a new CD-ROM drive ($490). You can also increase storage by buying a 6,4GB Ultra ATA hard disk and an Iomega Zip drive($440) or add a 1GB Jazz drive($300).

If you want to spend 1000 or less, you can improve performance by buying an Intel MMX overdrive CPU and Upgrade memory, graphics, hard disk, and CD-ROM drive ($910). To increase storage, add a 6.4 GB ultra ATA hard disk and a Zip drive or add a 2GB Jazz drive ($550).
