Basic Wave Theory

            The wave theory is pretty much the same as Bhor"s theory but that the idea of combing three principles of science. Quantum mechanics, The Uncertainty Principle, and the idea that light were energy. When you places all of these elements together you end up with the conclusion that electrons can make a duality of either wave or particle. The electrons are not a orbit like in Bohrs law were the orbits are a pattern. There is an orbit it can go where"re ever it wants to. Not saying it has its own mind but to say that electrons give off a light, which is either a wave or particle form. The light given off is energy to other electrons. Before this law the energy was thought of just to be a particle. Since lights has both particle and wave characteristics, suggested that the electrons around an atom's nucleus should have wavelike character. Specifically as they are (generally) restricted to the area immediately around a given nucleus, they should have some of the properties of standing waves. Think of these standing waves as a guitar string being plucked. The string vibrates back in forth really fast. It can only move in certain ways along with standing waves that are only able to move in certain was such as a guitar string. Only certain standing wave is possible in an atom. This suggests that particles can be waves. We know that it can be a wave or particle but that true fact is that we can"t tell. This explained the Uncertainly Principle. Reasoning for this is that Electrons can be treated as waves, but since they are in the area of the nucleus in atoms, they have properties similar to those that the position and momentum of a small particle could not be known accurately at the same time. In particular, the uncertainty in the position and the uncertainty in the momentum are related. The last element is the Quantum Mechanic law. This shows that the Electrons are not found in patterned orbits. Mainly cause the light energy given off by electrons are transferring to other electrons.
