Every year at this time our whole family goes camping in the dark woods of Mississippi. After a three hour drive we finally arrive. We unpacked everything and set up our tents. “Mom, Becky and I are going to walk around to see the animals,” I said excitedly. Becky is my cousin and my best friend. “OK just be careful,” my mom said. “We will.” We walk off into the woods. We have to be really quiet if we want to see the deer. They are so beautiful especially one in particular. Every year we see the same deer and we named it Spot because he has a white spot on his left ear. “There it is Becky. Do you see him.” “Yeah, it’s Spot.” We always try to get Spot to eat cereal out of our hands and every year he comes closer. “Becky do you have the cereal?” “Yeah it’s right here.” She pulls the cereal out of her pocket and pours some into my hands. I put my hands out and Spot starts to walk slowly towards us. He gets closer and closer until he is only a few inches away. He leans over and begins to eat the cereal out of my hands.
