A detailed Summary of Freshwater Biomes

There are many types of freshwater biomes, such as streams, lakes, ponds, and swamps. In these types of biomes there's much more water volume than there is in regular, or saltwater biomes such as oceans. All the unknown creatures and things that we know about must be able to change better to the changes that these types of biomes face during seasonal changes. As compared to a saltwater biome where the temperature stays almost the same through the whole year because the salt keeps it consistent like the added factor. Since the pollution in Midwestern states drifts through the air and ends up in the north eastern states where these biomes are acid rain becomes a much bigger problem and seems to kill off some organisms. Officials of the north eastern states are trying to work with the more western states officials to try and cut down the air pollution but this is happening at a slow pace and some fear it will cause a longer problem in the long run.

Lakes on the other side of things are similar in shape to ponds but much deeper in size and don't have as much noticeable lilies. The only place on a lake where light is possible to reach the bottom is the shores where it seems like a beach. This is the only part of the lake that is almost the same as a pond until you get father out to the middle and away from the shore. When one goes out into the deep waters there's less creatures living, and mainly thing one cannot see are living and floating around. These things one cannot see are microscopic algae and plankton which is mainly the base of this biomes food chain.

Next is streams, a thing that has hardly anything to deal with the calmness of lakes and ponds except for the part that they are both mainly made of water. Fast moving streams rarely contain organisms that are living.
