Prohibition of Alcohol

Alcoholism is a very serious subject in the United States. About seventy-six million Americans are exposed to alcoholism either directly or through a family member or acquaintance. Alcohol should not be legal at any age in the United States.

The main problem arises when alcohol is abused. When too much alcohol is consumed you can experience many different reactions. Alcohol can impair thoughts that lead to doing something you did not want to do. Alcoholism can slow judgement that makes it difficult to perform mechanical tasks well, such as driving. Alcohol can have deadly results when drunkenness causes delusions leading to suicide or other crimes.

Alcohol is a drug and your body does not function well on drugs. It is a natural reaction for the body to reject the alcohol. You can become physically

If a person cannot function at their job on a daily basis that includes arriving on time and remaining alert and productive on the job, that person will lose their employment. As a result, they will be unable to provide for their families and their own daily needs and may actually become homeless.
