Lady Macbeth is Responsible for Duncan’s DeathIn Shakespeare’s Macbeth, Lady Macbeth is the cause of Duncan’s murder. She is the enterprising force in the beginning of the play, driving Macbeth and fueling his ambition to have the crown in their clutch. Lady Macbeth is persuasive and capable of humiliating someone into murder.
