Charlotte not being much to look at sees it as a way to become financially secure with a man whether there is passion or not. Elizabeth on the other hand being quite handsome feels that passion and love should be the main reason for marriage and security second.

gley has moved from his estate back to the city with his two sisters. Elizabeth hearing this is in shock and can't believe that such a nice man could do such a strange thing to the women he loved. The letter is from Bingley's sister and says that they won't be coming back. Elizabeth believes that his sisters made him move though the letter mentions nothing of it. Despite this it is still his final decision whether to move or not. This is much to Elizabeth's dissatisfaction and loses much respect for the once thought great man Charles Bingley.
