Macbeth & Lady Macbeth

Compare & Contrast Macbeth and Lady Macbeth

In the novel Macbeth the main characters are Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. In the book they both commit a crime that the other helped with. To me they are both guilty of a murder. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth are two different people, and in the report will show the differences about them.

Who are they, what's important to the both of them? Is Macbeth alike Lady Macbeth? "Is this a dagger which I see before me, the handle toward my hand? Come let me clutch thee! I have thee not, and yet I see thee still. Art thou not, fatal vision, sensible to feeling as to sight? Or art thou but a dagger of the mind, a false creation, proceeding from the heat-oppressed brain? I see thee yet, in form as palpable as this which now I draw. Thou marshal'st me the way that I was going, and such an instrument I was to use. Mine eyes are made of fools o' the others senses, of else worth all the rest. I see thee still; and on thy blade and dudgeon gouts of blood, which was not so before..." (Pg. 51). In this quote, Macbeth is showed as a really big coward. Macbeth is really scared of doing something he knows is not right. He begins to see the dagger above Duncan. It's an image that he made up bu

In conclusion, Macbeth and Lady Macbeth are two different people. They may be husband and wife but that doesn't mean that they have to like the same things and be exactly the same. Macbeth is a man that doesn't seem to be evil and you wouldn't think that he was the type of man that would murder people. To me it wasn't his fault he was the one who pushed him into murdering the king and his friend. I really think that the power and his wife was really the cause of why he changed, once nice and caring to mean and ruthless. Lady Macbeth on the other had was totally different what made her unique was that she was the type of person who had no heart. She only cared about her well being and just wanted to make sure that things always went right. After a while she had to become the escape goat or the person to relieve some of the stress that they were going through. They are both two totally different people, but to me I can see that Macbeth is slowly coming to Lady Macbeth's side. Mean and heartless.

"So is he mine, and in such bloody distance against my near'st of life; and though I should with barefaced power sweep him from my sight and bid my will avouch it, yet I must not, for certain friends that are both his and mine, whose loves I may not drop, but wail his fall who I myself struck down. And thence it is that I to your assistance do make live, masking the business from the common eye for sundry weighty reasons." (Pg. 85). In this quote Macbeth has already killed King Duncan and is now the king. Now that he knows that his friend Banquo might be taking over as king, he decides that he should kill him and get him out of the way. He hires two mur
