A detailed Summary of Desegregation


Desegregation is something that you and I may not ever understand. Just for the simple fact that we were not born at the time segregation occurring. The play, "Desegregation", taught me that there were two sides to everything. A black side and a white side. That was just the way us as a society view people.

The play itself on desegregation was, to me, a great play. I really could not tell where the play was going; it did not seem like a play about desegregation. It was more like students having one big discussion on the topic of desegregation. But yet still, I think they got their point across. I really enjoyed on how some of the characters performed their parts. For example, Stephanie Parrott played the part of Felicity. Felicity was one of my favorite characters; her character was a middle aged Christian girl trying out a desegregation play. Spencer D. Christensen played the part of Chuck. His character was a betra


Desegregation is not meant to be viewed as a bad thing to still be dwelling on, but something that occurred in the past. Society should be beyond this point and work together to live in a happy environment that everyone is aloud to enjoy, so that our children can enjoy their surroundings as well.
