Lincoln now he belongs to the ages

The Documentary of Abraham Lincoln called, Lincoln: Now He Belongs To The

Ages, was a film of one of Americas greatest presidents ever. It told of Abraham's life. It

told of his family. It told of his successes as well as his failures. Abraham Lincoln did a

lot for our country and in return was assassinated. Abraham's life was well lived and had

he not lived the world probably would be a whole different place.

From the beginning Abraham was a good man, but because of his busy schedule

his wife got extremely lonely and called upon many of her male friends for support. Most

people did not like Abraham's wife Mary, and he endured much criticism because of her.

One time Grant invited Abraham to front lines and when he went he took Mary with him.

On the way there Lincoln saw the horrors of the war and hoped that there would be no

more blood shed. Lincoln was in misery, he was in trouble. He had to find a way to get

the country out of this horrible mess. After Grants victory at Petersburg the fall of

Richmond came quickly. The Confederate capital now lay in ruins.

At the wars end Lee surrendered to Grant in a parlor. When Abraham learned that
