Medieval Romance

In the middle ages, entertainers and writers used love stories to entertain their audiences. In other words, writers and storytellers used characteristics of medieval romance. This is true in "The Princess Bride" and Tristan and Iseult by Joseph Bedier. Both stories show characteristics of medieval romance in ways that are similar and different.
