Without any doctors, nurses, surgeons, or even physical therapists the world as we know it would be a complete disaster. Members of hospitals are what makes a difference in the world today. The people that work everyday to help the sick or even to save them are heros of this world. There will always be a need for nursing. There will always be injured people and sick people so there will always be a demand for nurses. There are many responsibilities and duties that nurses must complete. A few duties include giving patients daily bathes, feeding them proper food, helping them exercise, giving shots, drawing and giving blood, changing diapers, and giving catheters. Nurses also have many responsibilities such as making sure all used needles are thrown away in a biohazard box, remembering to give patients medicine, washing their hands after dealing with each patient, and filling out each patient's charts. Every nurse that works in a hospital knows and understands the precautions and safety rules that they are to follow. For example, if a patient has some kind of a microorganism inside of them and the nurse dealing with the patient doesn't wash their hands they could spread the microorganism into the next pat
