A detailed Summary of Great Expectations
In Charles Dickens' Great Expectations, the main character, Pip, has a variety of relationships that are developed throughout the novel. His association with Joe Gargery undergoes dramatic changes that lead to his self-realization. Biddy is another character whose relationship with Pip changes over time. Pip and Estella also encounter transformation from there childhood. All these relationships help to develop Pip into the character he is by the end of the novel.
