When most people think of the history of the great state of Texas is cowboys and Indians. People imagine the flat plains, the ranches, and the cows. This was a part of Texas history, but that's not all. Texas was imprinted by a few other issues, the first that comes to my mind is black gold. Now just what is black gold? One word... Oil! This is what a big part of Texas owes its wealth. Oil revolutionized Texas, and caused thousands of oil pioneers to flock to Texas. This brought many other opportunities, and changed Texas forever.
