A detailed Summary of beetoven
When I was a young buck it just didn't get much better than banging plastic figures against each other. Having He-man protect the walls of Gray Skull, or figuring out how thwart the evils of Moss man. I could often be seen by the neighbors running around in red He-man outfit in the back yard screaming "by the power of gray skull!" (He-mans famous quote). He-man and his followers were always able to come out on top, but not without a moral of some sort. These little plastic action figures taught me many important lessons at a young age.
I was a He-man nut, no two ways about it. I refused to make any trip without the protection of my glow in the dark plastic He-man sword tucked into the back of my shirt. Can you blame me? One never knew when Skelator would decide to try and spread evil in their hometown. Luckily for Lynchburg I had my glow in the dark plastic sword near by at all times. I also usually had one or two figures hanging out of a pocket or sock, just in case there needed to be a battle. Something to show that good still triumphs over evil even if we are in a moving vehicle, and there was nothing I liked more than divulging myself into the mythological world of He-man, or to compete with one of my friends in ba

The most important thing I took from the He-man lifestyle was to help me find a common ground with kids my age. At that age we don't have the most fine tuned personalities and aren't able to carry on deep meaningful conversations ("I like sugar, do you like sugar?") but since we had He-man we had something. You could discuss the idea of He-man vs. moss man, compare collections of figures or just duel it out with swords. When I entered the classroom on the first day of kindergarden I was very nervous. but my heart was put at ease when I saw the crew with the He-man shirts in the corner. If the hard work of kindergarden was to bring us down we could always fall into the mythological world of He-man or quietly stage a battle in our desk.
ttle. Watching the TV show was always good fun and brushing wasn't as much of a choir when I was using my vibrating/talking He-man toothbrush. If I was running low on ideas I could always throw on my He-man underwear grab my sword and protect the world from the evils of my cat. My He-man collection was always growing, as was the number of lessons that I was learning.
Once a week He-man would give me a moral reason for all his butt kicking he had just done ("nothing good ever comes from lying"). These morals that he was trying to slam into my head usually didn't make it all the way to my brain. Instead I learned th
