I believe that Dead Poets Society is an excellent movie and teaches a great lesson on self-expression. This movie brings up many questions about teaching techniques; it takes a look at both traditional and new teaching methods, and shows problems with both. The movie shows the dangers of conformity: a world without individuality or self-expression. It also shows that a teacher takes the chance of over stepping their boundary when teaching students to think for themselves.
