carcharias, is one of the best known species of shark. Great White

Sharks are ferocious predators that has been roaming the oceans of

this world for at least 400 million years and have earned the

nickname "Kings of the Ocean". The Great White has adapted

through changes in its' structure, organ systems, environment, and

the animals it eats; no wonder why Great White Sharks outlasted the

dinosaurs and still are around today.

The Great White Shark is a streamlined swimmer and is very

strong. All sharks, rays, and skates share something in common
