Most advertisements that you come across in magazines, television, and radio are geared towards one specific age
group. The advertisement I have chosen seems to be geared specifically towards students who want to get an education, but also wants to participate in sports while obtaining a higher education. The ad could also be used to attract some kids who really want to participate in sports, but are not really to sure about attending college. By portraying a fun, energetic image of college, it may persuade those types of students to at least give it a try.
The advertisement portrays a young girl smiling and laughing while holding a book and leaning on a volleyball, with the words "Play It Smart" in big, bold text
The ad seems to be targeting a wide range of people who have a general interest in particiapting in sports while attending college. In the ad the girl is wearing a couple pieces of jewerly, but nothing to flashy. Overall the girl is dressed rather casual and portrays an image of a fun, and relaxed environment.
The ad may also be targeting some students that are really interested in the sports aspect of college, but are not really sure if they can succeed in a college environment. In the ad the girl describes how helpful and supportive the staff can be if things become too difficult. I think by mentioning this aspect of the school may help reassure those potential students that help is available if things to become difficult. It may be just enough
