Ki

A detailed Summary of Ki

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS JUST LOOK BEHIND YOU

So your walking down the street. There is nothing "abnormal" about this. When all of a sudden you get this strange urge that someone is strange urge that someone is staring at you. You turn around to check on your hunch, and your right, someone was staring at you. Why did you feel the urge to turn around? Why did you think, or know that someone was staring at you? Some people may people may say that it was completely chance that you knew someone was staring at you. While there is another group of people that say it was not chance. They say that you knew someone was looking at you because of the "Ki" or "Chi" energy the person that was staring at you was projecting. I believe that there are little things in this world that are left up to chance. I am not here to put religion, science and peoples general beliefs down. What I am here to do is open your eyes and mind to the fact that there was something that makes us all feel the urge to just turn around and look.

To fully understand the concepts that will be discussed in this paper we have to look at the origins of where Ki came from. The theory of Ki can be followed all the way back to 1200 B.C.E, even before the tim

To look at what Ki is we have to look at what people think Ki is not. When you talk to someone that has a great deal of knowledge in the field of religion. You will hear a great deal of mixed comments on the issue of man having a sixth sense, or the ability to do things with his mind. In some religious circles you will hear that people alone do not possess this power, only the devil can provide a mortal man with these "extra" sensory abilities. While others might say that only G-d can possess these kinds of qualities. I personally have no problems with these people believing what they want to believe, but it seems to me that there may be a few flaws in their thinking. In the bible when it says that Jesus was able to walk across a body of water, the religious Christians say that only Jesus was able to do this because he was the son of G-d. I being a fairly devout Jew do not tend to believe this, but lets say for arguments sake, that yes, Jesus was able to walk across the water, this goes to prove my point even more. Since the Christians believe that Jesus was perfect, he was able to do this. In Chinese philosophy the idea of perfection for a human being is unattainable, this agrees with the Christian belief. To go along with this the Chinese philosophy says that for a man to become perfect he first has to become one with nature. So this idea agrees with Christian ideology. Since Jesus was deemed perfect, he must have been at one with nature, and to be one with nature, this would mean that you would be able to control your surroundings or Ki, and hence be able to walk on water. In the bible it also says that man was created in the image of G-d. This again seems to go along with the ideas of Chinese philosophy. Since G-d is said to have unlimited amounts of power and knowledge. Even if you take a quarter of a trillionth of G-d powers, we are still left with powers that are much more than just seeing, touching, tasting, smelling and hearing.

People in today's world seem not believe anything unless it has some sort of physical proof behind it, or scientific backup. Since some people don1't understand what Ki is in general terms, maybe it will be easier to understand what it is in scientific terms. What makes your arm move? It is a series of nerves connected together that when stimulated cause your body to move. Ki energy is the electrical impulse that stimulates the nerves. Now lets think for a
