Mississippi burning
The movie is about the racism in Mississippi in the sixties. It's about the Ku Klux Klan who terrorised anyone with the "wrong colour". They Ku Klux Klan burned down their houses, they looked down on every one who was not white, and they had no respect for anyone outside Mississippi. The story is told in the year 1964 in a little town outside Mississippi, called Jessup County. The people who live there are farmers, and they are pretty much isolated from the rest of the world. The police are corrupt, and they support the Ku Klux Klan, or the KKK as they also are called. If anything happens the police see nothing, and then no one talks about it. Then one day, 3 young men suddenly disappear after a visit to Jessup County, and no one pretends to hear about it. The young men were sent to talk about the civil rights, it was two white men, and one black. After some time FBI sends two men Anderson and Ward, to clear up the chase. They have only been there for a couple off days before they find out that there is something wrong. So Mr. Anderson calls for a lot of backup, and he buys an old motel and builds up a headquarter. Mr. Ward is against the idea, because the citizens in the town cannot like that there are a lot of strangers who mess around in their town. After some time the Ku Klux Klan gets mad and burns down a lot of houses and Mr. Anderson is getting more and more frustrated. He asks Mr. Ward were all that hate comes from Mr. Ward tells him an old story about his father who was an old farmer and his neighbour who were black. One the day the neighbour buys a mule, with the mule he can plough his field a lot faster, he quickly gets richer and buys a new field. Then one day the neighbour finds his mule dead, someone had put poison in the mule's water. No one never mentioned the mule when they where near Mr. Ward's father.
