Remember when you're talkin' to that man upstairs A song written by Brooks entitled "Unanswered Prayers" shows much inner feeling and emotion by a man who runs into his old high school flame. When he sees her, he immediately thinks back to the time when he had her. He explains that he wishes he would've never let her go. He says that he knew she was the one for him but there was nothing he could do anymore. He was left with "Unanswered Prayers." The song goes on to talk about that even though he lost her, he was glad that he still had his wife who would all be there for him. This shows the man's inner feeling of his love for these women.
