In Mary Shelly's Frankenstein, Victor goes against the order of nature to create his monster. It is un-natural to bring the dead back to life, therefore Victor's monster is disorderly according to nature. Because of these circumstances both Victor and his monster are effected. Could they lead a normal life or were they both doomed from the start?
The things which set order in Victor's life are things such as the law, teachers, parents, friends, and other influences. All of these items try to set order by being involved with the person they are trying to help. They want Victor to lead a normal happy life, one where he does not hurt himself. The problem is that Victor is always running away from the people who are trying to help him. He does not want them around whether it is subconscious or deliberate. When Victor escapes the

The monster developed a complex, driving it more and more insane.
If Victor was around the people and resources that would try to help him understand order, then he would realize that what he was doing is wrong. Victor kept doing what he wanted to do in the graveyard, with the dead bodies, possible because of the disorder of his mom passing away earlier in his life. Regardless, the more Victor was in solitude from the people who cared for him and could show him order, the more Victor traveled towards disorder.
