There are color photos in the paper along with big bold print. Ads run throughout the entire paper. There is a classified section where jobs can be sought out and a section where obituaries are run. The price of the paper is 50 cents and is distributed in several ways. You can get the paper delivered to your house, pick it up at a store, or even read it on the Internet.
that run in the paper are informational stories. There are some editorial pieces but the paper is mostly unbiased in its opinions. We didn't even start talking about the different sections. There are Sports stories, Life stories, and a Comic section run everyday.
The printing presses that are used today are so much more advanced that it is actually impressive to see how well the older papers looked with the technology they used. The Jersey Journal is usually clearly printed without any smudges where as papers of 200 years ago would sometimes have a lot of smudges and messed up pages in them. There are a lot of differences in today's paper and yesteryear's but the same premise is there, get the news to the people.
If you wanted an edition of the paper you would have to subscribe to it, or at least later on in years you could
