I have always wanted to study and perhaps one day be apart of the proud Yvan tribe. When I was a young boy I would hear exciting things about the nomad Yvan people and the things that they do. Over the years my interest would grow about these great and proud people that traveled and saw the world by sea. So after a long time of thinking of these people I decided to join them after high school. Much to my surprise I had to become a man in their eyes and pass their training camp to manhood. The Yvan people travled by water so I had to learn how to swim better. In the Yvan training camp I did a lot of running, and trying to get in good physical condition. I also did many things I did not like to do or have never done as a young man. I was not alone many people tried to be apart of these proud Yvan people but not all would pass their camp to manhood. I also had to learn their way of life, and their history of their great people. After two months of what I called hell I had become what I have always dreamed of and that was to call myself a Yvan tribes man. The hardest part was that I was away from my family, and friends for that time frame. After joining the tribe I had found out that it was nothing like th

train for special warfare. I was apart of the Yvan people for 3 years, and 9 months I have seen, and studied the whole tribe as well as their culture. The size of the tribe depended on the size of their boats some would carry any where from 5,000 to 100 people the propose of the boats would vary as well. In every year, and a half time frame the tribe would go in a 6-month journey to other countries. They would do this to see how other tribes are in the world they also did this to show their power, and their great boats. The Yvan would also pay war games with the other Yvan tribes if the world just to see who had the better boats as well as to who had the better war plans. The Yvan did have a homeland every tribe would very when they were there the Yvan people would do things to maintain their boats in good condition. They also maintained their readiness for war that can come at any time. The people gathered food for everyone and made sure that there was no lose ends to take care of. The Yvan tribe that I was in had 386 people that ran our boat.
