Brain Chemicals

A detailed Summary of Brain Chemicals

Has anyone ever thought about what actually separates people from one another? I believe people are controlled by chemicals that are produced in the brain called seratonin and dopamine. I once took in the idea that ethics, role models, and the government play an enormous role in who we are. We develop ethics through our family and our religion, observing the habits of those we love, and learning morals and ethics through our religion. We will later teach our ethics to our children, and hopefully in return, we will receive a large bonus check when we check out. Our role models, whether good or bad, give us an example of who to become, or even what is ordinary and creative to believe. The government controls everyone, everyday of every week. History tells us that no single community has ever survived without some sort government, because something has to control the giant masses before we devour ourselves in war, death, and plague. For the most part, this is what I believed to be true. However, this didn't answer my question. What is the difference between two best friends who share similar morals, role models, and are both ruled by the same government? I believe that every person lives in a different mind-set, and depend

"The subconscious mind is something that is impossible to break apart and study." Leary once said. It is often times too quiet to even notice. However, it is obvious that it exists. It is almost the inner person telling us what is right, wrong, intellectual, and real. Many people call this the "spirit," however; I simply believe it to be the individuals perception.

Seratonin is the chemical inside the brain that decides your emotions, your energy level, your appetite, and your level of consciousness. Many people experience a lack of seratonin in the brain, and experience depression, anxiety, mood swings, obsessive-compulsive disorder, or loss of appetite. Since everyone is different, seratonin levels in the brain vary from person to person. A person with high levels of seratonin will have positive emotions, and overly extreme senses to touch. Many people altar their levels of seratonin in the brain by consuming illegal drugs. Ecstasy is a very dangerous drug that makes the brain produce large amounts of seratonin. The person under the influence of the drug will have high levels of seratonin inside the brain, and often the chemical reaches parts of the brain that have never received the chemical before, therefore different feelings, and emotions will come to surface.

Many people say that no one understands oneself better than that individual does. I also believe that this is true. The unspoken language that we try to communicate back and forth in conversation isn't always interpreted correctly. It is also rare that an individual speaks 100% of their mind to another, because of the basic fear of being criticized and labeled "strange." This is something that supports my theory that every individual sees reality differently. This is because of the brain's composition.
