Seven, The Bone Collector and Kiss the Girls are similar in many ways. In each movie the audience discovers that there is a mad man on the loose kidnapping and murdering many individuals. In each of the films the serial killer eventually runs into justice. All of the movies are very alike in setting, character, plot, tone and theme. These flicks enlighten us on the dangerous events that actually happen in real life; they serve as a warning to use caution at all times when dealing with people you don't know. As well as the watchfulness needed when traveling around by yourself. All the movies take place in cities with big populations where it is hard to track down a person. In serial killer movies such as the three I am talking about, the weather isn't a big factor in the conclusion of the stories. The different murder victims in all the movies occur at all times of the day. They are all so unpredictable because the director wants to keep you wondering who the killer is the whole movie. In each picture the surroundings are very dark and gloomy making it hard to pick up who the homicidal maniac is. They also compare the types of killers that are in the world around us and how people must be careful so they don't fall into a situation where they become the victims. We also learned that it sometimes takes many people's input to bring down the wrath of only one man. The consequences of bringing down that one man will end up saving over two times the amount of damage that had already been delivered. e were taken by the crazy man during the daytime. The directors of each of the films create a very gory and mysterious tone. The stories are all fast paced, with killings taking place left and right. The director wants the audience to experience the movie as a victim. You will feel bad, sad, happy, horrified and scared throughout all of the movies. The great camera views and the awesome special effect techniques keep you on your toes the whole time. Throughout the film a feeling of curiosity and anxiousness are sent through your body making you very intrigued by what is to come next. The characters in each story are similar because in all three movies the detectives are veterans with a new partner in training. All of the characters in each flick become close with one another. They share each others pain as well as glory. In Seven Brad Pitt is the new detective that works with Morgan Freeman and they become best friends.
