The Vietnam War created a great deal of controversy in America. Did America really have to sacrifice thousands of lives and millions of dollars? Was it America's duty to be involved in Vietnams affairs? Questions such as these are what derived such a constant debate during the time of the Vietnam War. Despite the consequences, USA entered the war in 1965. They fought for several years, loosing lives everyday. Soon the U.S. government came to realize that they would only be defeated if they fought for any longer. The Vietnam War was a complete disaster and should have been dealt with in a more positive way. The amount of loss was not worth the gain, (there really wasn'
