What, or who, is an educated person? The possible answers to this question are boundless because, like beauty, education is in the eye of the beholder. For example, someone whose family never completed their secondary education might consider herself educated at that point. However, in my opinion, an educated person is someone who has an adequate knowledge of her history, culture, and society, has the ability to clearly express her thoughts and feelings in words, and knows that there is always more to learn.

An educated person should have a decent knowledge of her history, culture, and society because they are a big part of who and what that person is. How can someone be considered
