Censorship on Television Television, radio, and now even computers are growing as quickly as anyone can imagine. As these media sources expand there is a continued need for censorship. In this day and age television, being the least censored of the masses, should have certain simple and specific regulations set upon it. Television programs should be censored based on content, the time slot it will be showing, and the audience that will be viewing it. The first part of television that should be edited out or changed is content. For the most part television has been lenient on it censorship of things such as, violent crimes, cussing, and the use of illegal substances. Violent crimes make up a considerable amount of television programing. Crimes such as murder and rape should be banned from public television completely.
