Reaction to Girl Interupted
Overall I feel that the movie was pretty good and was linked to psychology in many factors. The social disorders of the girls, the mental hospital, the treatments, and the therapy are all aspects of the movie which are linked to psychology. I believe that Lisa possessed an antisocial disorder to a certain degree. I believe she was naturally antisocial but the fact that she was in a mental hospital for 8 years may have contributed to the level of disorder. Since she has been in there for so long, her mind set may be that she is antisocial and there isn't anything that she can do. If she wasn't in the hospital so long she may have not been so set on believing about her illness and it may have helped her recover quicker.
