The Better Interpreter

A detailed Summary of The Better Interpreter


Since Shakespeare there have been two major movie

interperetations of Romeo and Juliet one which was made in the 60's

and the other in the 90's. The first movie was directed by Zeffirelli

and the modern was directed by Lurhmann.

In my opinion Zeffirelli did a better job then Lurhmann with the

stage directions they fight because first of all it was set in the same

time and place which makes it easier to understand because

Lurhmann's version is good, but some of the lines don't make sense

because of the time, like when the open
