In due time, you will begin to discover the truths and myths of smoking both marijuana and tobacco. Many people wonder about the actual hazards of smoking. Some think that all the stuff that they see is what really happens. Not quite. Sometimes you might wonder what that is you're smoking. If so, do you even know what's in it? What is second hand smoke? What is tobacco? Of course everyone knows it's the dried leaves from a tobacco plant. But is that just it? It's almost unbelievable that this little plant can kill approximately 400,000 people in the world each year. Some people wonder why people even smoke tobacco. Most regret even starting. These same people feel that they can't quit for the same reason that presents all of them. They are addicted. That's what makes tobacco so dangerous. It's a relatively slow killer but it's hard to stop as soon as you start.

What are some of the hazards of smoking tobacco? In basic English, it kills. Smoking accounts for


over 90% of cases of lung cancer. Lung cancer is the leading cause for cancer deaths today. That means that around 90% of cases of lung cancer can be easily prevented. Cancers that begin in the lungs are divided into two major types, "small cell" and "non-small cell" cancer; it depends on how it looks under a microscope. Non-small cancer is the most common form at lung cancer. It accounts for about 80% of the types of cancer. Small cell accounts for about 20% of lung cancer cases.
