It is something everyone wants, not many have, and few want to give. Some people would appreciate having a little bit of respect from others, and some should make efforts to show some more respect. Unfortunately, this does not happen all the time. Perhaps this is because the concept of respect is not clearly understood.

What is respect? The dictionary defines it as an act of giving particular attention or high or special regard. Another definition shows respect as a feeling or attitude of admiration and deference toward somebody or something. This does not explain completely what it is, but at least it gives us an idea about what it may be. As a matter of fact, there are many forms of respect.

Now that I gave a brief explanation, of respect, I would like to advice everyone to practice it in every day~{!/~}s routine. You can practice at school by respecting your teachers, your classmates and the school itself. You can practice it at home by clearing your dishes, keeping living areas clean and not spanking your little brother. Or at work, by showing up on time and listening to your boss and co-workers.

Respect can also be accomplished through some moral acts like respecting the speed limit while driving in order not to hit anyone or anything, and also by not throwing that piece of trash or cigarette on the ground.
