Million of Immigrants settled in United States, its diversity of different culture during 1900 - 1930. California is one of the highest Mexican Immigrants settled in this state. Almost all worked as agricultural wage laborers. Mexican Americans ancestry became object of one of the largest removal operations ever authorized by the United States government. Mexicans believed that by working hard as a farmer it would bring prosperity in their social and economic way of life. United States as the land of opportunity and security gave immigrants the ideas of American Dream, freedom, and uniqueness. With these beliefs, Mexicans did not realize that there was a hidden division along class, gender, ethnic, and racial lines over who had access to economic security and freedom. Mexican parents sent their children to school to get education to improve their position in American society. But this proved especially difficult because they were mediocre over the Japanese and Chinese. They were slow learner. Most of children received only one or two years of education because they have to work side by side with their families. Although parents hoped that their children would be able to move out of the agricultural work through education. Most Mexican students finished only up sixth or seventh grade. Education to most Mexican children became great personal and family difficulties. Parents want their children to finish their education because they want them to have nice jobs and don't want to see their children to work hard as they were, when they were young. California growers depend to the Mexican immigrant workers as their major source of labor for industrial agriculture. Mexicans became the largest ethnic group farm workers in California. Because of the great crop produced, California became the core of specialty-crop agriculture. Mexican farm workers work hard for their temporary living and provide enough to support their family in United States and in Mexico. Despite of their low wages, some of them managed to buy or rent their property. Some farm workers bought land and built their own houses and others farmed on a share basis, leasing land and paying the owners part of their crop for seed and for use of the land.
