The heroes and villains of any movie, cartoon or TVshow are the representatives of the good and evil. The good guys like Batman, Popeye, and Superman always have their evil enemies, such as the Joker , Brutus and Lex Luther. The good guy usually faces a difficult struggle, but for the good of humankind and the salvation of the earth, he is able to overcome his obstacles, and contain the evil enemy. Batman uses his strength and power to outsmart the Joker and save Gotham City. Popeye eats his spinach and punches out Brutus to rescue Olive Oil. Superman flies through the sky to rescue his damsel in distress. The heroes are fighting to save human kind, while the villains are fighting to destroy it. The premise of the novel Dracula ,by Bram Stoker, is structured similarly to the examples above. Good and evil are clearly represented by the character and their actions. Stoker establishes a moral coding by which the heroes and villains are characterized.
