Robert Frost's poem The Road Not Taken begins with two roads which symbolize his opportunity for a career change. The "yellow wood"(line l) indicates he is not a young man an he is sorry he cannot combine both jobs into one. He gives the choice every consideration but it is difficult to see that far into the future.
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;(2-5)
He decides to take a chance with the new career even though it is not much diff
