Why is it that you leave me feeling so alone and confused?

All I want in our relationship is a feeling of love,

but something keeps me coming back to you.

Maybe it's your smile that keeps me from saying we're through.

Or maybe your eyes that I just fall into.

Maybe it's the sweet words you claim you mean.

I don't think you mean them, from what I've seen.

It's hard to understand why you hurt me when you say you love me.

I wish you would show me you want to be with me.

When I think of you, I think I hate you.

When I hear your voice, I can't feel any way other than I love you.

Please, just give me a sign you're still there.
