The Giver is about a boy that lives in this perfect place. The town has no

color, no bad injuries, no cars, and no reproduction. It doesn't have anything like

the world today. People even get their jobs assigned to them. Only one person in

the town gets to know the memories of the past, that is the Giver of memories.

The main character of this story is Jonas. Jonas is just a regular boy having a

regular life, until it is time to assign jobs. When the lady was assigning jobs she

skipped Jonas. Everyone wondered why. After everyone is done the lady tells them

that Jonas is the new Receiver of memories. That means the Giver will give h
