Auditory Neuropathy

A detailed Summary of Auditory Neuropathy

A.N. as I understood it is a condition where the cochlea and every other part of the inner, middle, and outer ear are normally functioning. The only exception is that the VIII cranial nerve is not functioning properly. OAE tests are showing up absent, meaning that the VIII has a problem. The funny thing is that when cat-scans were done no tumors were found.
