AutoCad New Business Plan
Our first objective is to obtain a small business loan of at least $100,000. We will utilize this money to purchase equipment, advertise, and set up our in-home offices. Our hope is that after two months we will begin to bring in enough money from sales of our AutoCad services to pay our loan payment and any additional expenses that may arise, as well as additional advertising that might be necessary. We also hope to have achieved 50% or more of our projected sales for the year by at least the end of the sixth month. We will focus the bulk of our AutoCAD drafting support services on the interior design, construction, engineering and manufacturing industries. As the workload increases in these fields, and the need to take on permanent drafting staff grows, the only option for some companies is to hire contract staff from an agency. Obviously this leads to added expenses including agency fees and the hire or purchase of expensive CAD equipment and software. Farming the work out to independent contractors with their own equipment and software is a much more affordable alternative. With our general CAD drafting experience, our company will provide a multi-disciplined AutoCAD dra
We promise our clients to provide a high quality service, and guarantee completed work delivered on time. We can do all of this at a lower cost than they would incur additional staff, and have the capability to handle occasional overflow work from their existing staff. We can do work over-night while their regular staff is home sleeping. There is no danger of us stealing their existing clients, because we never make contact with them. We deal only through our customer, and they in turn retain their business. fting service to complement our customers' existing office setup. Building layouts, construction detailing, visualization, manufacturing details and more will all be drafted to a high standard and to their requirements. Existing CAD files can be amended or updated according to their needs. Architectural or building services plans brought up to 'as built'. Changes to design drawings can be made, and additional details can be incorporated. Engineering details can be amended their specifications etc. Our customers' existing paper drawings can be accurately transferred into CAD format to bring their projects up-to-date and allow modern communication and transmission of information. In regards to additional business expenses we plan to maintain our own bookkeeping records in the beginning with the intention of utilizing an accountant only for tax preparation. We will do our own billing and collections if necessary. In regards to legal fees, we will obtain the services of an attorney at the outset to assist us in setting up a standardized contract to have all of our clients sign at the beginning of each job. If litigation becomes necessary we will retain an attorney on a more permanent basis at that time. Overall, we are budgeting $3,000 for accounting and legal expenses for the first year of business. For advertising we have budgeted $30,000 for the first year. As was detailed previously, the bulk of this advertising money will be spent on Web advertising and magazine print media. As business increases, we may try to run monthly ads in the larger magazines to secure larger clients in more distant areas.
