Adolf Hitler was born in Braunau, Austria on April 20,1889. His

father named Alois was an officer in custom services inspecting goods

shipped in and out of the country. His mother named Klara was a peasant

girl who had worked for Alois as his maid, before they got married in 1885.

Alois was forty-seven and Klara was twenty-four, him being just about twice

the age of her. Alois was married twice but both wives died young, which

left him with two children, a son Alois Jr. and a daughter Angela. In Adolf's

households all around him was death. Klara, his mother had three children,

all of which died when they were infants and then Adolf was born. When

Adolf was five he had a brother that was born but died a few years later.

Then he had a sister named Paula who was the only child of the family to

outlive Adolf. Paula was born when he was seven. Adolf's parents were

really different from each other. Klara was quite a loving person who did

everything a house wife and mother could possible do. Alois was a cold and

distant man who was very hard to like and get along with

the deaths that took place that he kept on hearing about and his brother who
