JFK3
Many people wonder why the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy is still questionable. For those who have not closed the books on this mystery, there are many reasons why. Those who were alive on November 22, 1963 still remember exactly where they were and what they were doing. It seems as if the whole country froze the day the President was assassinated, and this is why people still talk about it, and will continue to do so. There are many questions that have yet to be answered, files that have not been opened, and supposed lies that have been made. Some believe that the government is hiding information from the American people. I became interested in the assassination of John F. Kennedy after watching the Oliver Stone film JFK. It is true that some of the material in the movie is controversial, but a lot of the information is based on real reports. New government documents have also been released that reveal more information that was not known thirty years ago. The following information supports my belief that the death of President John F. Kennedy was not the result of a lone gunman, but the result of a conspiracy."The Warren Commission consisted of seven men chosen to investigate the assassinatio
A new team was made to investigate this part of the assassination and concluded, "There is a "95% probability that a fourth shot was fired from the grassy knoll."(Livingstone, p 260) New information that has been found reveals that, "The throat wound on John F. Kennedy was probed."(Stahl, part III, B) This proves that the autopsy doctors were lying when they said they weren't aware of the throat wound. "The back wound was also lower than the throat wound, which destroys the single-bullet theory. Another forensic pathologist concluded that the head wound was actually four inches lower than previously recorded."(Stahl, part IV, B) If Oswald was the lone gunman, JFK's head had to have been tilted down and this is not evident in either of the videos of the killing. "New reports have also surfaced from witnesses who have seen autopsy reports that showed a wound in the back of the head."(Posner, 49) This tells us that there are in fact two sets of autopsies, one that shows wound in the back of the head and one that doesn't. Doctors must have tampered with a set of the autopsies in order to follow the lone gunman theory. There is no way of knowing this because the government would never admit it. They knew that the wound in the back of the head would challenge this theory and something had to be done about it, so they changed the autopsy reports to make it look like there weren't as many wounds and that a single bullet in fact killed the President. The reasons for the government's actions may never be known, but we can speculate that they chose to tamper with evidence in order to prevent problems after the assassination. If it was a conspiracy and the people learned that the government was trying to cover it up, it's possible that our government would not be what it is today. Posner, Gerald. "Cracks in the Wall of Silence." Newsweek. Oct 12, 1998: p 49. http://www.webcom.com/~lpease/collections/assassinations/jfk/icebulls.htm "Basic Evidence of Conspiracy in the Kennedy Assassination." Reading this paper, one would think that this information may be true, but it can all be rebutted. Yes, there are different sides to every story, but there is too much evidence telling us that there was more than that one person involved in the assassination. It is up to you to choose whatever you think, but no matter which side you choose, you must understand that the government has already been caught in lies. If Oswald did kill Kennedy by himself, why are there so many cover-ups and so many contradictions? We probably will never know the real story of the Kennedy assassination, because if the government were involved in the conspiracy, they would never admit what they have done wrong.
