The "Star-Spangled Banner" means a lot to the American people. It represents the hardships and victories that we as Americans have prevailed against. This song perfectly depicts the challenge of the American Revolution. This war was fought between Great Britain and the North American Colonies, it took place in the years 1775-1783, and is the reason why the North American Colonies won their Independence. I don't know one person that dislikes our nations song. It is a beautiful piece of work and it deserves respect from all. We as Americans should be proud of this wonderful song. Not one country has the privilege to sing this son but us the Americans. Every one should take
