To play hockey there are many things that will be needed to survive. There are three basic parts of hockey that are needed to be learned to play this game. The first one is to learn the rules of hockey, the second is all the measurements of the game, and the third are the basics of how to play.

First of all, the most important thing is to know how to play. There are many rules you have to know. Also, the referees give signals and they mostly mean that a penalty is about to be given. The first rule is high sticking, and that is where an opponent hits another with his stick and the stick is above his shoulder. When a player turns his stick the long ways and holds his stick with both hands and hits the other player like that then he will get a penalty for cross checking.
