A view on the differences and similarities between the first administrations of the United States government and the administrations of the late 20th century.
There are without a doubt many differences in the American Government in the first administration and the administrations from the twentieth century. There are also similarities in the different administrations. One reason that the government has changed is because everything that happens is now instantly reported to the public, and with all the widespread news coverage the American public is more likely to get a less biased news report. Another reason that the government is different is because there are different issues to deal with. With the advancements in technology that have been made since the first administrations there is also a need to be more diplomatic to other countries at all times. Time has changed the way that the administrations have acted and done things but yet there is always going to be t

Without a doubt the media has played a role in the way that our government handles its business since the beginning of this country. In the beginning of our current government there was not normally more than one or two sources of news witch was almost always a local newspaper. Being that there was not greatly condensed populations as there is today the media was not as big of an operation back then as it is now. Since the newspapers where smaller it was simple for the news that went into them to be biased even falsified. Now in the late twentieth century there is more widespread media coverage of everything that the administration does. With such wide spread media it is hard for one source of media like a newspaper to make biased or falsified reports without losing their own credibility.
