Smith is known as the father of Classical Economics and the writings of Smith and his followers in the area of International Economics is called Classical Trade Theory. If a date had to be given to this period of classical trade theory, the beginning date would be 1776 and the ending date would probably be in the early years of the 1870's. This classical period in economics was followed by what is called the neoclassical period which according to many economists continues to the present but this is controversial, for some say it ended in the 1930's with J. M. Keynes while others would say that it ended in the 1980's with the introduction of modern trade theory. The research report will contain four sections: Introduction, the five Abstracts, Summary, and Conclusions.
