A detailed Summary of tennis1
When people ask me what sport I play, they are always expecting something like basketball or baseball the main and more known sports. So when I say I play tennis they are seemingly quite shocked. Tennis has always been a big part of my life ever since childhood till now. In this essay I will show you how it was for me growing up as a tennis player.
Tennis was more than a sport to me when I was younger, it was pretty much my whole life. Tennis meant putting in hard work and practice on a daily basis so that way I would be able to get better. It meant having barely any time to do anything else besides tennis and school. It meant exercising at least three to four times a week so that way I would be in-shape during matches and tournaments. I always wanted to have endurance so that during my matches I wouldn't be tired and that I would be able to outlast my opponents every time. I always wanted that edge over every opponent that I faced.

Well I started playing tennis when I was at the age of ten and ever since then I haven't stopped playing. I remember watching my sisters play high school tennis and seeing how much fun they had from this sport. So weeks later I began tennis lessons at least two to four times a week. At first it was just another sport, but soon it became a sport that I really wanted to concentrate on. I then had my own coach, who I would always have lessons by. He soon had me playing in tennis leagues, practice matches, and also tournaments.
In conclusion, tennis has been a major part of my life. I have put in hundreds of hours of hard work and practice just so I can perfect my game. The tennis life can be great, but once you begin to get competitive tennis becomes a whole new sport. The sport can wear you out physically and mentally. And those looking for a fun and challenging sport tennis is the sport to play. My coach Bill Staggs states that " Tennis is a fun sport but is also one of the hardest and most difficult sports to play also".
But throughout the many years of playing tennis, I finally got burnt out of the sport both mentally and physically. It was kind of like a car running out of gas, sooner or later the car
