My first reason supporting Antigone's decision is those in command aren't always right. A King

is a ruler of a society of people that has juristrictions to it's geography. Sure a king might be viewed more

worthy than a commoner, but one important idea to keep in mind is that all people are created equal. The

laws made by a king are most often those which are best for the people under command. But to make a

law not to bury a certain individual, especially one's own brother. Antigone felt she had to bury her

brother as she said, "Creon buried our brother Eteocles with military honors, gave him a funeral, and

So she disobeyed Creon's law and buried her brother anyway.
