School violence has been a problem since the mid 1700's. Ever since the incident at Columbine High school on April 20, 1999, I have been interested in school violence. There are so many possibilities as to why kids can knowingly massacre other kids. Bullying is at the core of every case of school violence. Finding this out could help society, by knowing what causes school violence we can find a way to prevent it.
I chose this topic because it is in the minds and on the lips of almost every American. When I chose this topic I wanted to find out why students could do these kinds of things. If anything the U.S. can learn from my research is that all people were created equal, I know this saying was originally created for minorities but in my opinion this also goes for people who might not be as popular, or good looking, or even as smart. If they can take what I have just said and apply it to school, work, sports, or any other activity, than we wouldn't have to worry as much about violence, or even violence in general.
The one source that was most helpful to me was the Internet. This was the best source for me because it had the most information pertaining to my topic. It was also easy for me to "navigate" and find information.
