It was a hot August afternoon, about 12:30 p.m.; I was just about to take a nice warm relaxing bath. I was starting college in just a few more days, and there were not going to be many more of these days where I could sit back and relax. As I was getting in the bath my phone rang, and it was my boyfriend Jeff. I had not talked to him in two days, and I was so glad to hear his voice. He was a senior in high school, so he had already started back to school. He was calling to ask me to come and meet him for lunch at Sonic, which is a local drive-in restaurant where I worked. I figured it would just be him and me. He told me to meet him there at 1:30 p.m. I was ecstatic because, we were not able to see each other as much as we would like since his dad forbidden me to see him.
